13-2 isn’t bad. It’s close to terrible.

Since we were up in Philadelphia yesterday for a friend’s surprise 30th birthday party, Jeremy decided to plan an evening out for us at a Phillies game. We both love the team and had only been able to get up to one other game all season, so it was awesome to get to ee them play Toronto. What was not awesome was the weather. It was spritzing on and off and somewhere in the very low 60s – with a healthy dose of wind throughout most of the evening. I was wrapped up in my hoodie, and if I had a blanket I would have been wrapped up in that as well.

Despite the weather, and the Phills 13-2 loss to the Blue Jays, we had a ton of fun. I’m not the kind of fan that gets pissed off and aggravated when they lose, I enjoy watching them suck and all.

We had great seats (upper level, third row, right at first base), we saw Chase Utley homer, and we both enjoyed a tasty Schmitter, which may sound gross if I describe it to you, but is actually really wonderful.

Good times. If we can make it up to at least one more game per month for the rest of the season I will be a happy girl. And now, just for good measure is a shot of Chase “I wish he was my boyfriend” Utley up at bat.
